After you submit your form, I will reach out via email to coordinate the specifics of your party.
*Individual and Small Group Instruction may be done virtually as long as guest(s) have access to a webcam
Paint-and-Sip events are always BYOB.
For purposes of these terms, the "host" is the person who reached out to the artist (Katherine Knapik) to schedule an event and/or filled out the above form.
The host of the event is responsible for acquiring an event space and enough tables & chairs for all guests and the artist. The artist will not aid in procurement of an event space and will not provide tables or chairs.
Painting time (6+ people) can take anywhere from 1 to 4 hours, depending on complexity of the artwork and number of attendees. This does not include time necessary for paintings to dry, or set-up time prior to the start of the event.
If you are unable to keep the original date we book, you will be able to reschedule your event 1 time within 30 days of the originally scheduled date. Your deposit will be held to put towards your rescheduled date. If you cancel your party after you've already rescheduled it, the deposit is nonrefundable.
No work will begin on creating a design for the party until the host has paid the deposit. Any communication regarding design or date of event is pending until deposit has been paid. Your date is not secured if you have not paid the deposit. The artist may hold your date tentatively as a favor, but reserves the right to make other plans until deposit is paid. Deposit is due a minimum of 1 week before your desired event date. Failure of host to pay deposit with enough advance does not leave the artist with enough time to create a design or procure supplies for the event, and your event will be considered cancelled.
Group Acrylic painting parties are $25 per person, and Group Watercolor painting parties are $40 per person. The host is responsible for all of the party's funds. 50% of the total charges will be collected via Zelle, Venmo, or emailed invoice in order to secure your party's date. The host is then responsible for the remaining balance at the time of event, prior to the start of the event. If the remaining balance cannot be paid on or before the day of the event, a late fee of $50 will be charged for each day the balance is past due. The artist will be paid her entire agreed upon fee by the host, and the responsibility falls to the host to collect payment from individual guests. Host is responsible to paying the artist even if their guests have not yet paid them back. If host should have a guest no-show without explanation or considerable notice, host is still responsible for guest's fee. It is up to the host to collect no-showed guest's fee. Guests who no-show will not be permitted at any future events.
Individual and Small Group Painting classes are $150 for one person or $75 per person for 2-3 people. Class will last no longer than two hours. Payment is collected at the time of scheduling the event in order to secure your date. If a guest should be unable to make the agreed upon date, the payment for the class will be transferred one time to another date no more than 30 days after the original date. After this one-time transfer, payment becomes non-refundable. Payment for no-shows is non-refundable and non-transferrable.
All above terms are subject to change without notice. You agree to these terms when you schedule the date of your event with the artist.
