Snow White & Rose Red - Process

Conceptual design for a contemporary version of Snow White & Rose Red.

CONCEPT: An aged-up Snow White and Rose Red are now living in a contemporary college dorm where their antics take them on adventures with grumpy old men and handsome boys. Because the sisters love each other dearly, they decided to room together, but are very different people. Their room is split right down the middle, with their individual tastes dominating their side of the room. Snow is tidier, and likes staying home to do embroidery and tend her plants. Rose, however, is more extroverted and prefers going out to parties and playing music and video games. The space should visually show the differences in each girls’ disposition, but shouldn't be uncomfortable or tense, as the sisters love each other and are best friends.
