FAQs
What materials do you use?
My murals typically utilize Behr interior and exterior latex paints, and Polycrylic water-based sealers, but at your request, I am also comfortable with Benjamin Moore and Sherwin Williams paints. I use Corona and Rosco scenic brushes, house painting brushes and rollers, and painters' rags to create your custom artwork.

What supplies do I need to provide?
Please make sure you have a ladder and extension cords or let me know I need to bring my own ahead of time.

Can you walk me through the process?
Yes! After you contact me via email, we will set up a time for a consultation. Since my murals are based on square footage, I will be able to give you an accurate price quote right there. Once I have received your 50% deposit, I will create a mock-up of exactly what your mural will look like in your space. Changes to the design can be made at this time. Then I will come to your location (after dark only if exterior mural) and project my design directly on your wall so that I can trace it exactly like the mock-up. Then I will prime (if necessary) and paint the walls and follow everything up with a sealer! The remaining 50% and the cost of supplies is due at time of completion.

How is payment accepted?
Payment is accepted via emailed invoice where you can securely pay online with card, Venmo, or Zelle. Check is accepted in person only in special circumstances.

How long will my mural take?
From the time of payment, the design can take a couple of days. Following the approval of the design, we will schedule a weekend or two for me to spend at your location installing the mural. Most projects do not take longer than a couple of weekends.

How long will my mural last?
Your mural is guaranteed to last indefinitely as long as you are not abusing the surface of the wall. Let me know if you ever require a touch-up and I will be happy to stop by for free the next time I'm in your area or you can make a touch-up appointment sooner for a small fee. Deliberate abuse to surface of mural, picking at the paint, and natural disasters are not covered by my personal guarantee.

I am a renter; can you paint a mural in my space?
Murals are permanent works of art and cannot be removed: only painted over. You must either own your location or provide me with a written statement from your landlord that you are allowed to paint walls at your location. You are responsible for covering up any murals at the end of your lease if that is required by your landlord.

Can I commission an artwork in another medium?
Absolutely! I work with watercolors, pencils, ink, acrylic paints, and digital media, so those are other options if you are looking for something that can be removed from the wall! Since some of these mediums aren't standard for me, pricing will vary depending on the size and complexity of the commission. Feel free to fill out the commission form and specify what medium you're looking for, and we can get started on a beautiful custom work of art!
