This painting is an oldie, but it has so much character. A few years ago, when I was still in college, I went out to the middle of nowhere in agrarian Georgia to buy a piece of furniture off Facebook Marketplace: the antique metal desk that now lives in my studio, where I create all of my art. On my way back to Pooler, with a hundred pounds of desk in the back of my SUV, I pulled off the side of the road to take a photo of this barn. It looks like I painted it wrong, because it doesn't show the barn having any interior, but in actuality, the back of the barn was completely missing, and you could see all the way through it. The original painting of this piece also features edges taped off at various angles to give it a more rustic feel.
