"Breakfast by the River" is a gorgeous original watercolor I painted in 2023. I had permanently begun splitting my time between Daytona Beach and Orlando, and while I had moved my home and my business, I had not changed any of my doctors from the town where I grew up on the Space Coast. This painting was from a morning where I needed to be by the Indian River for a doctor's appointment in my hometown, and had gotten a moment to eat a Dunkin' Donuts multigrain bagel with cream cheese while sitting on a bench in Manzo Park. It was just after the sun came up, where the sky was blue but the air was still cool, and the breeze tickled my face while the river lapped against the shore. It was a beautiful, peaceful morning, and I was so glad to preserve the memory of this moment in a painting.
