Begin Your Mural Commission Process!

Send me your specifications and a brief description of what you’re looking for to begin our relationship! I’ll email you back shortly, and we can discuss size and pricing before I begin work on your new piece of art!

Payment of a 50% deposit will be accepted via Zelle, Venmo, or emailed invoice, or paper check (in person) before any work on the mural begins. Clients are also responsible for costs of supplies in addition to the quote given by the artist, which will be calculated at time of installation.

After I get the dimensions for your wall, I will create an illustration with the design for your mural. After I send you the first iteration of your mural design, we can make edits until it's exactly what you're looking for. Then, I will schedule a couple of days for me to come by and bring the mock-up into reality!

Murals are priced at $35/ sq ft for illustrative projects and $25/ sq ft for abstract projects. All murals are priced at a $900 minimum (not including cost of supplies).

Additional Terms

For purposes of these terms, the "client" is whoever is paying the artist (Katherine Knapik) for a custom work of art.

No work will begin on the commission until deposit of at least 50% has been paid to the artist via Venmo, Zelle, card, or check. Checks cannot be mailed and must be delivered/received in person. Minimum price for all projects is $900 (not including supplies).

Expedited completion guarantees your mural will be installed within 1 week of paying your deposit, contingent on client's quick response to thumbnails and mock-up. This type of expedited work will incur an additional fee of 50% of the base quote. Availability of expedited completion is contingent on artist's schedule and is not always available.

The artist maintains the right to use images of your commission for promotional use but will not sell reproductions of your one-of-a-kind work of art.

Client acknowledges that they are purchasing the vision of the artist and that interpretation of any reference images is a stylistic and artistic representation. Client acknowledges they are purchasing a one-of-a-kind illustration, not a photograph or photo-realistic representation of reality.

The artist will create a digital rendering of client's mural design after deposit has been received. Client may then request edits to the mural. Resizing of the mural to be larger than original quote will incur an upcharge of $35 per square foot.

Client is responsible for all supply costs, including but not limited to paint, disposable foam rollers, drops, rags, polyurethane sealer, and transportation over 60 miles. Client gets to keep all paid-for supplies after completion of mural. This does not include Artist's nice brushes, spray gun, or any reusable tools.

Custom artwork is non-refundable. Nonpayment for artwork will result in artist pursuing payment through a collection agency or other third-party means.

All above terms are subject to change without notice. You agree to these terms when you pay the deposit for your commission.
