"Whiskey Bottles no.2" is a part of my Whiskey Bottles series: six paintings from iconic whiskey brands. I was of course inspired to create this series a couple years ago by my dad and my parents' neighbors, the wonderful people of their neighborhood whiskey lovers club. This particular painting is of a bottle of Crown XR, which I chose over the standard Crown Royal bottle due to its more ornate detailing and luxury appearance. I just love how the glass sparkles. All six of the bottles in this series are gorgeous, but Whiskey Bottles no.2 is just glowing. I think the light and warmth came through so well in this painting. Nothing like a glass of Canadian whiskey to warm you up on a cozy evening, and a matching painting to adorn your home bar.
